Geriatrics
The most important health problems in the elderly are caused by inactivity. Most of the common old-age problems such as difficulty walking, balance disorder, inability to do one's own work limit the participation of elderly people in social life, even if they do not have an important disease that will cause these problems, and staying at home also fuels these problems.
Elimination of the problems caused by inactivity, which shortens the life span, reduces the quality of life and is one of the most important causes of senile depression, is only possible with geriatric rehabilitation programs consisting of combining appropriate exercise programs and arranging the daily life of the person as a whole.
Geriatric rehabilitation is one of the most important needs of the elderly who have diseases such as high blood pressure, Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, previous stroke, vascular occlusion, heart failure, or who have no obvious disease, but whose functional capacity has decreased.
