The aim of hand rehabilitation is to restore injured, operated or diseased hands or upper extremities or to maximize their remaining functional capacity. It can be in the form of hand and upper extremity injuries, fractures, tendon injuries, crush injuries involving all tissues, amputations or a combination of all these. Patients should be included in the rehabilitation program immediately after orthopedic or plastic surgery.
